Our Mission

The company may successfully take up all the phases of a project’s lifecycle (study-design-implementation-operation). The services of the company span consulting, project management and software development for different sectors. Since 2001, the key members of the ACCELLIGENCE team have been actively and successfully involved in more than two hundred projects for different clients in Europe.

Our Team

Dr Pantelis Velanas

He is the Head of R&D department and the founder of ACCELIGENCE. He received the B.S. degree in physics, the M.Sc. degree in telecommunications and the Ph.D. in photonics from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, in 2000, 2002 and 2009, respectively, and he has worked at the same university as a researcher in Optical Communication Laboratory, participating in several FP6 and FP7 EU projects . From 2007 he has worked as a R&D project manager in numerous companies in Greece and Cyprus.  In the last three years he attacted  >5M Euro net funding for private companies and research institures, and he was the principal investigator for >15 successful  H2020 projects.

         

                        Mr Parakevas Oikonomou

He is a UAV engineer at Acceligence Ltd. He received his Diploma degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from NTUA in October 2016. Since November of the same year, he worked as a research assistant within the Intelligent Robotics and Automation Lab (IRAL) of ICCS. His research interests and expertise include adaptive control using reinforcement learning, with applications in the field of soft robotics, as well as machine learning techniques applied in the area of tele-robotics and haptic systems. He is currently working as a research assistant in the i-Walk project. He is a member of the Technical Chamber of Greece since 2017.



                                       Mr Spiros Velanas

He is a Senior Mechanical Engineer, a Robotic expert and he is leading ACCELI's UAV team. He is a Mechanical Engineer , and as a PhD candidate in the field of haptic systems, he gained broad knowledge concerning robotics, UAVs and other related scientific disciplines, such as programming, electronics and embedded systems.
Highly self-motivated with an energetic style, His strengths also include communications, maturity, and the ability to relate effectively with individuals at all levels and cultural backgrounds.




Dr Yiannis Spiropoulos


Dr Spiropoulos has significant experience in EU projects and rich writing
work in international journals and conferences. He has a PhD in
Biomechanics and he has an extensive experience in project management of EU projects.      


Mrs Rea Levantinou
She received her BSc degree in Physical Education and Sport Science from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in 2009. Following that she received her MSc degree in Exercise and Health from the University of Thessaly, Department of Physical Education and Sport Science in 2014 where she worked as research fellow in the biomechanics lab of the university. From 2016 she has been working as a Senior Researcher and participated in the preparation of several R&D proposals of H2020, Eurostars, ENI CBC MED and other European and local funding schemes.
